    is there any difference between the front rotors of a 89 rex and a 90 rex??

    No, if its a Si or DX. I don't think the HF will work.

    so i can buy slotted or cross drilled rotors for a 90 rex and it should fit??

    Just don't buy Powerstop drilled rotors. They suck.

    I have power slot and with some goodrige braded brake lines you will love them, I did. Had no prob with them. But you should get the brake lines it does make a dif in the stopping power.

    Put it this way if you do like I said, it will feel like you have all wheel disc brakes. That is how it felt to me.
